We traveled to Athens to teach dance in three refugee camps. None of us were professional dancers, but we rehearsed the week beforehand to become more adept at dance. We worked in three camps — Skaramangas, Eleonas and City Plaza Hotel. We also taught dance to economically disavantaged Greek youth at the Apostoli Community Center. We encourage you to look through our accounts of teaching in the camps. The experience of working with the people we met was “amazing.”
